Performance:

Performed many styles of music on different instruments: popular band ( wedding receptions, parties, New Years Eve dances etc..), electric guitar; church and cathedral musician, piano, guitar and organ; Jewish temple staff accompanist, piano and organ; solo concert pianist ( at venues in New York and California) piano accompanist (strings and voice); Christmas Concert choral concert accompanist aired on KVCR television. Celebrating 41 years in music this year. 

Awards:

Many scholarships based on my piano performing to attend music schools and summer festivals such as Chautauqua  ( Ca. and NY); Young Artist (San Bernardino) Johanna Hodges International Piano Competition; piano compositions for students (MTAC) etc

Judging:

For many organizations such as Certificate of Merit, scholarship auditions, Bach festival, Southwestern Music Festival etc….

Teaching:

Students have gone on to Major in music, minor in music, continue their piano study at the collegiate level, published original music in a student’s magazine “Piano Explorer” thru Clavier, performed throughout California, involved with the MTAC and MTNA festivals and competitions, Bach festival, Southwestern  Youth Music Festival, and simply enjoy music for the rest of their lives and share it with their families. In addition I wrote a Music Theory book which encompasses many levels.

Volunteer:

I have given of my time to support music organizations and the students who are participating in them through: Composers Today State Chair(MTAC)Board of the Southern California Junior Bach Festival; Vice President ( MTAC San Bernardino) ; Young Artist chair( MTAC San Bdo.) Panel chair(MTAC North Orange county) International Biographical Center( Cambridge England.)
I can be found in Who’s Who of American Women and in the International Biographical worldwide Honors list from England.

Education:

I attended Cal State University Fullerton (BM in piano performance) and Eastman School of Music in New York (Masters of Music in piano performance and Literature) In addition I did post graduate work with Daniel Pollock in performance and teaching. Some of my teachers include, Gary Davenport, David Berfield ( CSUF), Rebecca Penney(Eastman) and Daniel Pollock.

Nicolas


Professional drum instructor, Nicolas has not only established himself as a prominent drum player in the Long Beach area but he also composes music. "Let It Go" and "I Don't Mind" were selected for the soundtrack for the film Wingman. See also below the music video of his song "Coming Home"

Coming Home

Nicolas has been performing since the late 1970s throughout Europe. In 1995, he moved to Los Angeles and he has been here ever since performing, composing, recording, and teaching.

Nicolas is an accomplished musician with over 30 years of professional teaching experience. He is stern yet able to make his lessons enjoyable and fun. If you speak French, he will be happy to accommodate. He is proficient in areas of jazz, big band, pop music, adult contemporary, and classical.

In his spare time, he enjoys arts, traveling, and going to movies.
