Magdalena

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Magdalena began her musical journey at a young age, winning numerous Yamaha Piano and Electone competitions in Indonesia. She earned a scholarship to study piano performance at Biola University’s Music Department and later received her Bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach, along with ABRSM certification. She further enriched her training in Piano Pedagogy and pursued advanced music studies in Jazz Piano with Jeremy Siskind at Fullerton College.

She actively participates in her community church playing keyboard and singing in the worship team. Magdalena believes that studying music is a lifelong journey, not a destination. She encourages all her students to play piano mindfully at any level, proving that it’s never too late—or too early—to begin, to discover and overcome any challenge together with beauty, creativity and determination that music brings.

Magdalena enjoys spending her free time at her home in Fullerton with her husband, three sons and the two cats, Skye and Thomas.
